I am finally here to dutifully update everyone on my birthday! I will try my best to be as detailed as possible but you do know my brain tends to go into the selective memory mode as and when it wishes to and I am completely powerless against it. HAHAHAHA
Alrighty, so although I couldn’t have my birthday dinner on the day itself, Saturday night was truly one of the best nights I’ve had in my nineteen years of existence! (:
I forbade myself to do anything school related that day and busied myself with frivolous activities such as getting my nails and hair done blah blah blah. (I AM SO SORRY I REALLY H8 DETAILS LET’S FF TO DINNER NOW)
Okay! So, dinner was really scrumptious!! It was my first time trying Molecular Gastronomy, and I’m so glad I picked the right restaurant in the end. I swear I have never seen soups the size of a bubble, desserts served like breakfast and food that grows on trees. It was truly ‘an experience’ as what their 6-course is called! And of course, what would my birthday be without chocolate cake? I am disappointed by my tummy; for once it was unable to consume the amount of chocolate that I deem suitable. We actually DIDN’T FINISH THE CAKE. THE HORROR, I KNOW.

Everyone was laughing at my old-school polaroid camera but I am really thankful I lugged it to dinner! I know, digi cams are so much faster and all that but I am just so attracted to the look of vintage pictures. These pictures are happily resting in my diary at home.
So after dinner we decided to chill at New Asia Bar. Moet was only going for 75 per bottle that night! What luck right? I really really enjoyed myself (: The music there’s really good! It’s like velvet’s, only with words. And the DJ was so sweet to play my favourite INFINITY when I screamed-requested it. Although the crowd there was much older, I really love how spontaneous they were. It made partying so much more fun (:(:(:

I swear getting high on champagne and wine is really way more fun! Plus it’s healthier right? Can’t wait to head over there again soon, when time actually permits me to do so that is. :( Guess the invites for this Thursday's party will end up in the trash.
So, I thought the 20th of Oct was just going to be yet another normal day since I had school from 830 in the morning to 9 at night. It was really sweet to receive birthday wishes and tons of chocolate cakes from everyone that day. Surprise #1 came when Nick popped up during my meeting to wish me happy birthday (inclusive of MORE chocolate cake and a sunflower). I swear after reading his card I just wanted to cry my eyes out. As though I didn’t cry enough when he surprised me on my birthday last year as well... I know, I’m just a ball of emotions waiting to explode when it comes to surprises. So after a long hard day at school, I was at home bumming around with my boyfriend when Surprise #2 happened. My awesome sneaky friends burst into the room with my favourite Island C.’s mudpie. I swear I love them all to bits. School’s been such a bitch to everyone and with Week 12 approaching, I knew everyone’s schedule was packed to the brim and hence I was really touched when they all came down so late to surprise me. It’s always the little things that means the most (:(:(: So the rest of the night was just spent singing eating, giggling and singing karaoke. I love love love my friends beyond words.
PS: I think i ate 6 Chocolate Cakes in total (Hello fats!! But okay, I loved every bite of it Heehee)

Love you Nick. After all that we've been through, some things still never do change.

LASTLY (seesh, finally) it was the birthday mambo! Needless to say both birthday girls were just a tad bit too high (euphemism here) but it was really awesome to see the other AC girls and all the old mambo people!!! AND YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I HAVE MISSED MAMBO!!! I can’t wait to relive my mambo days again (without the getting drunk part) once school's out for good. Thank you to those who came down to party with us! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

HAPPY NINETEENTH TO THE BOTH OF US!
OMG I AM FINALLY DONE WITH THIS POST. I’m so sorry I really h8 blogging in details. I usually just go woo I had fun and that’s it but I know I owe too many of you stories and school’s sucking the life out of me so I don’t have the time to email all of you!
